Alik Cavaliere

1926 Rome – 1998 Milan

Studied at the Accademia delle Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, where he later became a professor of sculpture. 1945 exhibited for the first time in a group show of young artists. First one-man exhibition at the Galleria Colonna in Milan, 1951. Participated 1964 and 1972 in the Biennale of Venice with a solo exhibition. Retrospective at the Palazzo Reale, Milan 1992 and Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna, Rome 2014. The Centro Artistico Alik Cavaliere was founded in Milan in 1999 an association to collect and conserve the works of the artist.
