Studied at the Avni Institute of Art and Design, Tel Aviv. Taught at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem 1972-77. Winner of Aika Brown Award of Israel Museum, Jerusalem 1969, Sandberg Award of Israel Museum, Jerusalem 1982, Kolb Award of Tel Aviv Museum of Art, 1989, Honorary Fellow of Bezalel, Centennial Award, Jerusalem 2006. Participation at Biennale, São Paulo 1969, Biennale, Venice 1980. Exhibited at „Les Magiciens de la terre“, Centre Pompidou, Paris 1989, „Being German“, Städtische Kunsthalle, Dusseldorf 1993, „Where is Abel, Thy Brother?“, Gallery National, Warsaw 1995, „Juden Fragen“, Jewish Museum, Vienna 1996, „After Rabin: New art from Israel“, Jewish Museum, New York 1998, „Die Neuen Hebräer. 100 Jahre Kunst in Israel“, Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin 2005.
