1954 Munich – lives and works in Tel Aviv
Emigrated to Israel, 1968. Studies sculpture with Rudi Lehmann and drawing with Prof. Joseph Schwartzman, Israel and at Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich. Teaches at the Art Department of Haifa University, Israel. Honored with America-Israel Cultural Foundation Award, Tel-Aviv 1988 and 1999, Gerard Levy Award of Israel Museum, 1989, Leon Constantiner Photography Award of Tel-Aviv Museum of Art, 1999. Participated at "The Body", Haifa Museum of Modern Art, 1989, "Patterns of Jewish life", Martin-Gropius-Bau Museum, Berlin 1992, "The Range of Realism", Tel Aviv Museum of Art 1993, "Photography in Israel", Israel Museum Touring Exhibition in Europe and USA, 1994-97, "The Other Side of Beauty", Rheinisches Landesmuseum, Bonn 1995, "After Rabin, New Art from Israel", Jewish Museum, New York 1999, "Identity and Environment", Ludwig Museum, Budapest 2000.
