Aram Gershuni

1967 Ra’anana, Israel – lives and works in Tel Aviv

Aram Gershuni is self-taught. Studied with Israel Hershberg and at Jerusalem Studio School. Solo exhibitions at Alon Segev Gallery in Tel Aviv, 2003 and Tel Aviv Museum of Art, 2009. Participated at “Separate words”, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, 1994, “Virtual reality”, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, 1996, “Eye level”, Artists House, Jerusalem 1997, „Face to face“, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, 2003, “Bread”, Israel Museum, Jerusalem 2006, “BP Portrait Award”, National Portrait Gallery, London 2007, “Real Time”, Israel Museum, Jerusalem 2008. Honored with “America-Israel Culture Fund scholarship”, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, 1991 and “Young Artists Prize”, Ministry of Culture, Israel, 1998. Taught at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem (1997-2004), Jerusalem Studio School (2004-2006). Teaches at “HaTahana” school, Tel Aviv, which he co-founded 2005. Museum collections: Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Supreme Court of Israel, Jerusalem.
